Meet The Owner

Chef Xavier Thomas has always had a passion for seafood and flavor, which led him to spend years perfecting his craft and creating his signature garlic-and-herb sauce. In 1999, after mastering his secret recipe, Xavier began selling freshly prepared seafood dishes directly from his home in Sanford, Florida, quickly earning a loyal following.

By 2001, Xavier’s culinary vision grew, and he launched Xavier’s Mobile Seafood, operating from a mobile kitchen unit that allowed him to share his flavorful creations with an even wider audience. His entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to quality paid off, and with the success of his mobile venture, Xavier set his sights on expansion. Leveraging his growing reputation and proceeds from his business, he boldly entered the thriving Atlanta market, bringing his one-of-a-kind seafood dishes to a whole new community. 

Today, Chef Xavier is celebrated for his exceptional flavors, innovative approach, and unwavering commitment to delivering the best seafood experience with 5 Star Seafood Café in Riverdale, Georgia.

It is our mission to combine the highest quality foods with an assortment of herbs & spices on a consistent basis. Top that off with our signature sauce, outstanding customer service & we will provide our customers with a mouth-watering taste and experience that cannot be matched our duplicated. We believe it’s all in the concept we do NOT subscribe to the fast food philosophy. We use only the top ingredients and freshest seafood.
